North London Earwax Clinic was founded by Paediatric Audiologist Zahrah Jaunmahomed in 2021. Patients are the heart of everything we do here at the clinic and Zahrah wanted to reflect that in the clinic that she created. Our goal was to create an environment that provided a safe, comfortable, and accessible ear wax microsuction service to a wide range of patients across North London and surrounding areas, which is exactly what we have done.
We are registered with The Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists and The Health and Care Professions Council, as well as being covered by Barry Fenton Insurance to warrant the safety of our staff and clients.
Our Services
We use endoscopic microsuction to safely and effectively remove build-up wax from the ear canal. A specially-designed oto-endoscope allows us to view the ear canal while the wax is gently removed with a specialised microsuction tube safely, comfortably, and precisely. Our qualified audiologists can also carry out ear check-ups to help you stay on top of your ear health and identify the cause of discomfort, blockages, or loss of hearing.
We offer our earwax removal services for both adults and children, tailoring our skills to the needs of the individual. Our microsuction removal process is extremely effective and safe, perfect for patients that may be anxious to provide them with a comfortable experience.

Zahrah Jaunmahomed
Paediatric Audiologist
North London Earwax Clinic was founded by Zahrah Jaunmahomed, a confident and versatile paediatric audiologist who has over 12 years of experience in audiology. Zahrah is an expert within her field having worked within a number of audiology facilities from independent micro suction clinics to working with children with complex and behavioural needs at Great Ormond Street Hospital. She has held a position at the Royal London hospital and the Hackney Ark delivering care to both adults and children within the community. Zahrah currently works within the Auditory Implants team as an advanced audiologist within a large London NHS trust specialising in Bone Conductor Implants and Cochlear Implants.
Zahrah has removed wax from over 1500 ears and this number continues to rise as she continues her work to help patients with their Audiology needs.

Wood Green Clinic Location
Our clinic is based in Wood Green, North London. Since our clinic is situated in the nation’s capital there are excellent bus and tube services within the city making us easily accessible for all our patients.
By Tube
Wood Green tube station (Piccadilly line) can be found a short 2-3 minute walk from our clinic. If your wanting to plan your journey ahead of visiting the clinic using this helpful London route planner is a great option.
By Bus

If you are travelling to us by car there is a pay and display car park opposite the clinic in the Mecca Bingo car park, the postcode is N22 5JY or alternatively, there is also resident permits for WG on the side roads.

Home Visits
We offer a convenient mobile earwax removal service that lets us see you in the comfort of your own home, catering to a wider range of needs, including patients with reduced mobility, children, and anxious adults. We currently cover the boroughs of Haringey and Enfield for home visits. Occasionally, we may be able to travel outside our main areas to see you if needed, get in touch to find out more.
